This page tells you how to get (1) a demo of CM Assistant, if you're not yet a user, or (2) the current version of CM Assistant, if you are a licensed user and you wish to perform an update for yourself.

The CM Assistant Demo

At the present time, we don't keep a demo online at all times, because CM Assistant has been going through a period of aggressive development and we want to make sure that you get the latest and best build. If you would like a demo, please send us an email with the following information:

1. The computer platform on which you wish to run the demo (Windows; Mac OS 9; Mac OS X).
2. Your name, the name of your publication, and where you're located.
3. What software you are using currently to manage the distribution of your paper.

We would also be grateful if you would tell us how you heard about us.

Latest release of CM Assistant

If you are using version 3.2.5 or later of CM Assistant (with a release date of September 2002 or later), you can now perform updates yourself. You are urged to do this if you have to recover a file, even if the current version is the one you have already. You may also update yourself when you wish to take advantage of the latest enhancements and fixes. Please send us an email, telling us what version of CM Assistant you are using currently. To find out, pull down in the Assistant menu to "About CM Assistant," and note the version number and release date.
